The correct way to measure
1. BUST - Place the measuring tape over the back, under the arms and across FULLEST part of the bust. (With the bra on) Do not pull the measuring tape too tight; just make sure it is a little snug. Also, make sure that the measuring tape is straight all the way around the body.
2. WAIST - Place the measuring tape around the SMALLEST part of the waist. This is the true waist size for clothing. Note: The waist is typically much higher on your body than where most girls wear their pants.
3. HIPS - Place the measuring tape around the FULLEST part of her hips. This is typically and approximately 8 inches below their true waistline.
SHORT LENGTH = Such lengths refer to the measurement from the natural waistline to the hem of the garment
INSEAM = The measurement of the seam on the inside of the leg from the crotch to the hem.
(1 centimeter = 0.39 inches)
1. To ensure accuracy, we recommend that you have someone else take your measurements. Hold the tape straight and snug, but not tight. Measure over undergarments or other clothing that will be worn beneath the new clothing.
2. If you fall between sizes, order the next size up listed for the item.
3. It's a good idea to measure each time you order. After all, people change.
4. If you are placing an order for someone else, please be sure you know the proper size of the person who will be wearing the new clothing.
5. Make sure to read our "Fitting Tips" located on the page for each item. This will help ensure you order the correct size.
